Substorm Appoints Chief Marketing Officer

Swedish automation consultants Substorm appoints Jonna Hillblom as their CMO, a newly created role, effective from August 1st.

“By appointing a CMO we aim to create a bigger exposure towards the AI and Automation market, enabling us to reach more customers and partners”, says Substorm founder and CEO Sofi Elfving.

Since their start just a little more than a year ago, Substorm has grown to almost 20 employees thanks to several new clients and interesting collaboration projects across Sweden.

As the company continues to aim to grow even further in its key markets, Substorm has appointed Jonna Hillblom as Chief Marketing Officer. The new CMO has a clearly stated mission to manage the organization’s marketing activities including marketing strategy, external communications and relationships with stakeholders, customers, and partners.

Jonna Hillblom joined Substorm in August 2020 and have two bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science and Marketing from Stockholm University. She has previously worked as an Engagement Manager at Netlight Consulting and as an Investment Controller Consultant at Telia Company through the global consulting company CGI.

Substorm has grown rapidly from the start, Jonna Hillblom considers her first year only as the start of something bigger:

Substorm was founded in 2019 by Sofi Elfving and digital business developers Tromb. The company was recently appointed one of the top AI startups in Europe. Substorm’s focus is intelligent automation and machine learning applications.
